Miranda - she likes pushing other children on the roundabout.
Although I'd sorted the photos and had them printed in a photo lab it takes a lot longer to deal with the prints, which is what I have been doing today. Rearranging the ones I had on the walls and shelves, getting some new frames. I still haven't finished.
I'm looking at the (artificial) floral arrangements and thinking that I will get out the autumn ones from last year, and change them on Labor Day (September 5) which is the end of summer. It probably won't be the end of the hot weather though. It got to 107 the other day, I couldn't believe it as I was driving through town and saw a thermometer.
Today I invited Mark and Mary to lunch at the Cracker Barrel to thank them for what Mark did while I was away, dealing with my mail etc. He also bought me a few filters for the air conditioning. Mostly because of all the cat hair I have to keep checking and cleaning the filter. It gathers fluff like a tumble dryer.
After lunch we cruised round Shawnee, Mark is always looking out for property he can do up and let. Then they took me home and came in for coffee and we watched the weather news on television. It was good spending time hanging out with them.
All the regular tv programmes have been replaced by commentaries on the east coast weather. The hurricane is expected to hit New York at 5am.
