I haven't been on for a few days. I had a lovely weekend with Jeremy, who visited between business trips to Boston and North Texas.
We have been catching up and I showed him round most of Shawnee, places I go to. We had a meal in the Cracker Barrel and browsed the tourist's stuff in the Country Store. We had dinner on Sunday night at the Red Lobster, my favourite restaurant, Jeremy was impressed with his lobster and grilled shrimp. He wanted to go to Emmanuel on Sunday so we went to the 10.30 Service and I introduced him to some of the people who were there.
We went out for a drive to Lake Thunderbird which is on the way to Norman. The end of the cord on my C-Nook had broken earlier in the day, so we carried on into Norman and I got a replacement cord from Barnes & Noble. B & N in Norman is a very big store, we looked round and stopped for refreshments.
When we got back to Shawnee I had to pull in and introduce him to the Pink Swirl experience.
I have a lot more family photos which he kindly downloaded for me from his i-phone, so I will be off to a photo lab and frame shop.
I don't know when I have enjoyed a weekend so much.
