Well it is just now, about 10pm that it started snowing. I don't know how bad it is going to get, but 60 schools will be closed tomorrow.
I was glad to be able to get to Emmanuel this morning, and for Tim Sean's talk this afternoon. Now I will just stay indoors until the weather gets better.
At the moment I am without water so I hope that doesn't take too long to repair. All the water lines in Shawnee are old and need to be completely replaced, and are always being repaired. It is the first time I have been affected though.
Tennessee is called The Volunteer State because the volunteer soldiers, serving under General Andrew Jackson displayed marked valour in the Battle of New Orleans which was fought in the 1812 War between Britain and the US.
Georgia is known as the Peach State because of its abundance of peaches grown there.
I wish I could have taken this in action as this child playing ping pong was absolutely incredible. Apparently both his parents are champions.
