5.30 Wednesday

I put the car as near the edge of the road as possible to save on the back breaking shovelling.  I'll probably stay in tomorrow, I'm a bit nervous of black ice, but there shouldn't be any more snow, I think it's falling at the moment over Mississippi and Alabama - states that very rarely get any - and is moving westwards.   The temperatures should be up to the 50s by the weekend, and the 70s by next week. I can't wait.


I heard on the news that instead of having call centres in India and such places, they are being brought back to the United States.  I often find when I get through to one that I have a problem with their accents, so I think this is good news.   They are going to be operated by people, acting as sub-contractors, in their homes.
