I went to the hospital mid morning. Most of the patients seemed to have pneumonia, I don't really know why.
Afterwards I went to the Mall, I think I felt the need to buy something new for Spring and picked up a couple of bargains. As I was paying with my English debit card I was tempted to opt to pay in sterling, to make them seem even cheaper, but the last time I did that it was pointed out to me that it wasn't cheaper at all, so I didn't.
The temperature during the day was 76 so it was a lovely, balmy evening. Bruce and Rosalyn invited me and a couple of other friends to the Shawnee Little Theatre to see The Miss Firecracker Contest. It is set in a small town in Mississippi in the mid 1980's, there were only five characters in the play, and the theme of the play was their search for their identities. Afterwards we went to Braum's, the ice cream parlour, had ice creams and chatted until they closed.
