Spent the day mostly resting my injured toes and working on my unfinished needlework projects.
When I dropped the laptop on my toes my sympathetic nervous system seized up, which is why I have been so stiff and aching and unwell since then. I went to Leanna yesterday for physical therapy and she worked hard to unlock it, with some success, but I am going again next week for another session.
Her clinic is called a Holistic Healing Centre, which sounds suspiciously Californian New Age, but I have to say her treatment works.
When I was moving around I have been re-arranging the furniture, and I went out to Walmart.
The Presidential Election is really ratcheting up into a higher gear. I am not sure what it will be like when Obama enters the fray and starts challenging the Republican candidates who are emerging as the front runners. Some Republicans are more right wing than others but all of them believe in smaller government and less entitlements. Their television ads are becoming more and more vicious, they spend millions - and we are told exactly how many million each candidate is spending - on attacking their fellow candidates.
On television this evening there was a segment on the top ten most ridiculous law suits of the year. The top was a kidnapper who sued his hostages because he was holding them at knife point and they promised not to run away. However, he fell asleep, they did run away, and he is suing them for breach of contract.
Another guy is suing a restaurant chain because he is so obese he isn't comfortable in the seating, he is too big for it. His claim is based on the fact that restaurants have to provide for all disabilities, and under the American Disability Act, obesity is a disability. If I were the judge I'd tell him to lose weight.
I am sure Bubbles thinks she is human - stretched out on the bed with her little head on the pillow. I just wish she wouldn't situate herself right next to the nightstand.
Taking her photo with one hand, just pointing and shooting, is very hit and miss.
