I have a photo of me taken when I was in England last summer, with my long, grey straggly hair. Somehow it found its way on to my screen saver and I wince whenever I see it, so decided it was time to have it coloured, which I did today. On Saturday I will have my bushy eyebrows done.
This is the offending photograph taken in Newhaven, when I introduced Rosalyn and Bruce to my friends with whom I used to have lunch at the Community Centre. I am going out Saturday evening, I'll see if I can get an 'after' photo of me.
I went on to the hospital from the hairdressers, and while there I saw the kind nurse in charge of employees and volunteers health and told her about my toes. She did a blood test on my sugar levels which was normal, so I don't have diabetic neuropathy. And she said it doesn't come overnight anyway, it is a long process. I am glad I have that out of the way before seeing the foot doctor on Wednesday. And my toes actually have felt better today, I think it was the first time in ages I wasn't limping painfully round the floor.
Afterwards I was running round town doing my errands. I filled the car up with gas which cost me $40. I am not complaining, I know you pay a lot more, it is just more than I've been paying.
Sitting at a red light for ages I took this photo of a guy selling old garden tools at the side of the road.
I don't know why he thought this would be a good place to sell his wares. It is a busy traffic intersection with nowhere for customers to pull up and jump out.
I woke up this morning at 4am, and have been up and about, mainly on the computer, but I looked at the left overs in the fridge and decided to have a blitz on them, Which I'll do when I've gone back to bed for a little nap.
