SUNDAY

Was at Emmanuel this morning.    From lunchtime onwards I was mostly busy on the computer sifting through all the photos I had - to some extent sorted - to see if I had enough for a Presentation.   I found that I might be able to supplement Rosalyn's pictures for some I downloaded from the internet of the places we had been to which I know well.   I discovered Wikipedia to be a very good resource for that, and their photos of Seaford Head etc are a better quality.  They even had one of the interior of Lullington Church which I didn't have.

I will go and see Tim Sean tomorrow.  He doesn't have anything to do with this project but he might be able to advise me if he thinks it will work, he can do power point presentations.

Later in the afternoon I went shopping.  I had to buy a skirt that wasn't in danger of falling off me to go to the RSVP Banquet on Tuesday (I always knew I should have learned to sew, I could have taken in those that are too loose).

I started at the low end of the market, in Walmart, but they didn't have any skirts at all, cheap or otherwise.  People here don't wear skirts, they wear skin tights jeans, which given how enormously obese they are, is ridiculous.  They should be in caftans.

So I went to Dillards in the Mall, which represents the higher end of the market here in Shawnee, and I found something in brown.    I haven't got a handbag to go with it, but I've got plenty of brown wool, and a day to knit it.   I'll see how I get on.

On the way home I picked up supper from the Golden Corral.  Their special deal at the moment is pan seared seafood which they cook while we wait.   We pay for takeouts by the weight of the box, and this was $3.27.   As I think I've said before, is it worth going home and cooking when it is just for me.
